1.1 The Birth of the Universe

The Beginning of the Universe, Rapid Expansion from Nothingness

Everything was
contained within a single point.

Infinite density, infinite temperature.
Time and space had not yet begun.
Only perfect equilibrium existed there.

But,
In the quantum world, perfect stillness does not exist.
A mere,
fluctuation of energy.

It was merely
a probability wave momentarily tilted.

Yet that tilt
triggered a vacuum phase transition.

And so,
the universe began to expand.

Faster than light,
space stretched out into nothingness.

Within it,
fluctuations were stretched out,
freezing solid in place.

That became
the density differences between stars,
the skeleton of galaxies,
the cradle of life.

At this moment,
the universe began to possess "information".

In perfect equilibrium,
the first asymmetry was etched.

That was
the "drop of the beginning"".

Without sound, without light,
only existence was born.
