株式会社 科学技術研究所（科技研）は、1998年12月2日に東京都千代田区麹町にて産声を上げ、本日、創立27周年を迎えました。
これもひとえに、日頃の皆様からの多大なるご愛顧とご支援の賜物と、心より厚く御礼申し上げます。

弊社は、創業者の私（柳下）と藤田の2名が、文字通り「ゼロ」から立ち上げた会社です。創業以来、幾多の困難がございましたが、自社製電磁波解析ソフトウェアの開発・販売を柱に技術を磨き、皆様に支えられながらこの27年という歳月を歩んで参りました。

現在、弊社は科学技術系ソフトウェアの開発・販売、技術コンサルティング、受託計算を主軸とし、特に電磁波解析分野において実績を重ねております。近年では、機器制御等のシステム開発にも積極的に取り組み、事業領域を拡大しております。

また、「科学技術を研究し、世の中に還元する」という「かぎけん宣言」のもと、誘電率・透磁率データベース「permittivity.jp」や、フリーソフト「KeyScan」「KeyFDTDちゃん」「KeyGraphちゃん」の公開、さらには「かぎけん花図鑑」をはじめとする各種Web図鑑の無償公開など、社会貢献活動にも注力し、多くの方にお役立ていただいております。

Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Kagiken) was founded on December 2, 1998, in Kojimachi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo. Today, we proudly celebrate our 27th anniversary.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you for your continued patronage and support, which have made this milestone possible.

Our company was started from scratch—literally from zero—by the founders, myself (Yanagishita) and Aki Fujita. Since our inception, we have faced numerous challenges, but by refining our technology, primarily through the development and sales of our proprietary electromagnetic wave analysis software, and with your unwavering support, we have successfully journeyed through these 27 years.

Currently, our core business focuses on the development and sales of scientific and technical software, technical consulting, and contract calculation services, with a particular emphasis on the field of electromagnetic wave analysis. In recent years, we have also actively expanded our business scope into system development, including equipment control systems.

Furthermore, under the “Kagiken Declaration” to “research science and technology and return the benefits to society,” we are dedicated to social contribution activities. These include the public release of the permittivity and permeability database “permittivity.jp,” free software such as “KeyScan,” “KeyFDTD-chan,” and “KeyGraph-chan,” as well as various free online encyclopedias like the “Kagiken Flower Encyclopedia.” We are delighted that these resources serve a wide audience.

Looking ahead, we aim for even greater leaps forward and are recruiting motivated engineering staff to join us.
